Why a wine was named after a donkey<\/p>

and that a singing one of the kind<\/p>

Many answers or none may come to mind<\/p>

but the reason is in history to find.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Once upon a time<\/p>

in the outskirts of a town in Spain<\/p>

one that from a river took its name<\/p>

the donkeys were forced to thresh the grain.<\/p>

They worked and worked till they were sore<\/p>

but after having finished their chore<\/p>

the peasants had something nice in store.<\/p>

In a landscape covered with corn and vine<\/p>

there was a plot that fitted fine<\/p>

for the donkeys to resign.<\/p>

The donkeys would lie down<\/p>

or just walk around<\/p>

whilst making their very particular sound.<\/p>

This was referred to by a peasant<\/p>

however incessant<\/p>

to be so very pleasant<\/p>

While the donkeys were braying<\/p>

it goes without saying<\/p>

that the wives of the peasants were praying<\/p>

for their husbands to return by dine<\/p>

and that in a sober state of mind<\/p>

without having bested their intake of wine<\/p>
